The Inside Outsider
The Inside Outsider
Once, I lived by the countryside
So full of the wind and rices
I’d run and jump out of joy
And look upon the azure sky
And see a brilliant infinite canvas
And say to myself, what’s out there
And swear to myself, to find out one day

Where cities and cars bustling by
I think of myself once a while

Once I was glad on the other side
Blind by joy, deaf by pleasure
Now the shadow comes to me
It abides me to turn back
